JOB DESCRIPTIONS
This role responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the development of oil and gas projects, which may involve EPCIC projects as well as PSM (Preservation, Storage and Maintenance) projects such as equipment maintenance projects, Plant Turn Around, equipment rental and parts/manpower supply. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications / Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
Relevant Experience:
Min 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on project management and engineering. Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2) or HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas operations, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.

Key accountabilities
Project Planning and Coordination:

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, budgets, and scope.
- Coordinate with Head of Maintenance Services, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Design and Engineering:

- Collaborate with design teams to create engineering plans for oil and gas facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure designs meet operational and safety standards while maximizing efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.
- Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations.
Budget and Resource Management:

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Monitor project expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

- Ensure all engineering and project activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee day-to-day project activities to ensure the schedule is maintained.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Quality Assurance and Control:

- Monitor and verify the quality of construction, installation, and operational processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure the integrity of installations.
- Ensure all documentation, including technical drawings and reports, is accurately prepared and maintained.
Stakeholder Communication:

- Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all project components are integrated smoothly.
