EXECUTIVE, PROJECT COST CONTROL

JOB PURPOSE

Implement and monitor project activities through tracking and analysis of project cost performance, provide recommendations of appropriated actions to address the performance gaps and preparation of management reports to ensure an effective cost control management and maximizing value creation from projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Execute and implement project cost control framework and strategies to ensure project completion by participating in the review of project risks, synthesize and provide guidance to relevant projects and asset business regarding total and phase cost, while providing support for project sanctions, budgeting, forecasting and change management to ensure compliance with corporate governance.

2. Prepare and assist in the monitoring and analysis of yearly budget performance against the approved budget to ensure development project business objectives are aligned to the overall growth strategies.

3. Monitor and control overall Project Cost Performance strategies and mitigate cost variance and recommend corrective measures and interventions in ensuring that project cot targets are achieved.

4. Support the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery to ensure internalization of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs.

5. Participate in the community of Practice (CoP) and be a member of professional bodies and adopt best practices in project control and cost management.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent.
