JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant transition of the Sapura Jaya rig between regions, supporting both project/Marine, operational teams & supporting function  in planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of all transfer activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES 

1.    Lead and coordinate the transition of the Sapura Jaya rig between operational regions, ensuring compliance with Sapura Drilling Directive DIR-37-0140 and all relevant company procedures.
2.    Develop the Project on Sharepoint (use PRO-00-1122 Stacking of Rigs for the structure).Maintain, and execute the Handover Project Plan, including timelines, activities, and contingency planning.
3.    Ensure all SD management systems (equipment maintenance, warehouse inventory, crew habitability) are fully implemented during the transition.
4.    Facilitate technical inspections and joint audits with both leaving and receiving area teams, ensuring all findings are documented, clarified, and closed out.
5.    Prepare and manage all required documentation, including Handover Checklists, Audit Reports, and compliance records.
6.    Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (Director of Operations, Head of Finance, HSE & IT) to address legal, insurance, taxation, and communication requirements. Ensure tracking and close out in country is done 100%.
7.    Oversee the transfer of yard base inventory and equipment, ensuring clear and accurate lists are provided and received.
8.    Support the planning and execution of rig moves, client inspections (if any), upgrades, acceptance testing, and procurement activities along with the Project Planning Lead. A clear Workpack Index is to be ready at Handover 
9.    Ensure compliance with Flag State, Classification Society, continental shelf authority, and client-specific requirements.
10.    Liaise for last crew change logistics once on HL and receiving crew in new region. Plan for stacking/yard stay as required to the adequate location (laisie with Marketing, Marine & Project to finalize the plan).
11.    Monitor and report on risk mitigation measures, including personnel competency alignment, supervision, and familiarisation.
12.    Ensure all outstanding actions in STAR/TMS/Synergy/DODA/Dashboard are closed or reassigned prior to transfer.
13.    Promote cost-effective execution and avoid unnecessary costs during the transition.
