JOB PURPOSE

Liaise with clients on work executions, planning, monitoring throughout work progress.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Complying to SPW HSEMS, rules and regulations and provide the necessary support to HSE Department to achieve Company’s HSE targets and objectives.
  • Preparation of Man hour estimation, Master Deliverable list (MDR), Cost Time Resource (CTR), Progress monitoring and reporting plan for projects, proposals and man power allocation for piping discipline.
  • To actively participate in project kick-off meetings, project review meetings, Client Interface meetings etc.
  • Review contract documents (ITB), Support bid proposals by providing required technical assistance, Scope of Work, Tender bulletins and coordinate with client for engineering deviations and raise TQs / TC’s if required.
  • To involved in inter discipline co-ordination between Piping, project, Structural, Mechanical, process, instrumentation etc.
  • To actively involved in PDMS 3D model reviews at various stages of the project (30, 60 and 90%) and assist in closing the model review comments.
  • To extensively involved in both offshore and onshore sites and fabrication yards, supporting the site team for the smooth execution of the project, providing practical solutions for site related problems.
  • To review and approval of equipment layouts, Piping General Arrangement Drawings, pipe support location plan and isometrics.
  • To review and approval of piping design basis, piping engineering specifications, reports, drawings and calculations.
  • To review and approval of Stress analysis report for stress critical lines.
  • To review and approval of Pipe stress analysis specification, Stress Critical line list, Pipe support standard.
  • To perform, review and approval of pipe stress analysis for FPSO, FPU, FSO, MOPU, Fixed platforms (WHP & CPP), LNG projects considering hull displacement, structural displacement, thermal bowing, transit analysis, blast analysis, and flange leakage test for stress calculations.
  • To review and approve datasheet and review of vendor documents.
  • To support, review and coordinate for development of project PDMS 3D model and review of the model in Naviswork at various phases of the project.
  • To involve in procurement activities by checking and approving Material Requisition, Purchase Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor drawing review etc.
  • To support and coordination with site engineering team for smoother execution of construction activities by giving on-site practical solutions.
  • To coordinate with construction and fabrication contractor for material procurement, and progress monitoring for fabrication and construction.
  • To support review of 3rd consultant’s for special study reports like surge analysis, AIV/FIV
  • To involved in HAZOP, HAZID, and HFE (Human factor engineering) workshops
  • Perform other ad-hoc task as and when required by the superior from time to time.
  • Perform the work in a cost-effective manner, beneficial both to the customer and to SPW, within the limits given by the requirements to quality in work performance.
  • Portray SPW in a positive manner to customers and surroundings.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related discipline

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in the Oil and gas industry with at least 3 years working with an EPCIC Contractor.
  • Able to communicate and implement HSE management System at all level of employees within the organization.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with terms and conditions of contract.
